Welcome to the Washington Ferret Rescue and Shelter, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We are a no-kill shelter caring for ferrets in the Puget Sound area. The shelter is located in Kirkland, Washington and was founded by Liane Beckwith.

WFRS always has ferrets ready for adoption, and is always willing to take in any ferret in need of a home. Please send us an email or contact someone by phone if you need to place your ferrets or are interested in adopting.

We're now accepting articles/content for the Jan/Feb edition of the newsletter! Deadline Jan.15, 2009. The November/December edition is now available online.
• Volunteers Needed: Are you 16 years or older with your own transportation & a love for animals? If so, we have the volunteer job for you! We have an immediate need for substitute weekday cleaners and can always use help on Saturdays speaking to the public about the pros/cons of owning a ferret.
